Thinking back I should've known, the mission in his step, him constantly running his hands through his floppy dark blond hair, how he would give me a tight smile every time he glanced back.
We kept walking until I smelled the smoke and detected a loud murmur.
I looked up at him and groaned, "James I told you no party",
As I said this, the low grumble of truck grabbed our attention as it headed for our swarm of friends.
The birds began running from the safety of the trees.
I saw my friend Liza turn her head towards the car with a look of confusion.
Out of the black truck stepped two lengthy women and a young girl.
The young girl opened her mouth and the fog floated in thick clouds into the crowd of people.
The crowd grew quiet and I saw Liza's golden-brown eyes widen in awe/fear.
The two women noticed her and whispered to each other.
The fog hit everyone and they collapsed, then they swarmed upon them and Liza was gone.
